Question by taylorabc: How can I quickly diable WiFi in Vista?
I use a 2.4ghz AV system to feed DirecTv to my AV system. My Pc's using PCI dlink cards and Hi Gain ants. interfere with the AV. Normally I just power down, but then it get annoying to do this after a while. How can I do something like an Icon on the desktop to disable communication, or a quick procedure. I already know that I can just co to device manager, or network connections to do the same thing.

Answer by Kevin
You can go to Start -> Network -> Network and Sharing Center -> Manage Network Connections and right click on your connection and hit Disable. You must be an administrator to complete this.
For convenience, you can click and drag the connection icon in Manage Network Connections to the desktop like a normal program or file.

I had a 3 channel trainer but it had terrible low speed characteristics. I know how to fly but I have limited space. Is this plane able to maintain altitude at low speeds or do you have to climb really high at high speeds in order to have a lengthy low speed flight?
July 30th, 2011 - 21:08
@24262748 well they are all pro fliers so they are going to say it flies good because they know how to fly it
July 30th, 2011 - 21:15
Why does he always say “guys, this plane flies really well guys, awesome you guys”
Did Nitroplanes ever say “this plane is sucks” ? No, everything they sell is all great, you guys

Is it Foam or its made from tree?
July 30th, 2011 - 21:58
@HAXANDREW buying tools and fixing by owner allways cheaper then rtf planes..at least u can choose ur setup..bcz most of rtf planes are so weak and poor quality,,,
July 30th, 2011 - 22:55
they dont sell these in the uk!!!
July 30th, 2011 - 22:57
@HAXANDREW to behonest it sure aint i get a cessena 182 400 by arttech or some thing on that term ive heard these have a thew problums

This is a FANTASTIC second airplane. I bought it for my daughter who graduated from a slow stick and she could fly it no problem. By her third flight she was doing loops and rolls. The landing gear is weak, but if you fly in a park, just pull it off, convert to a two blade 10-11″ prop and belly land.
Another pilot flew it with just one hour on a basic trainer and could fly it no problem.
It’s so rugged I also use it as a combat drone. It’s STILL Flying.

@HAXANDREW get 350$ and build your own… get a DX6i and micro jet motors and build a delta…

i have a quick question, this is my first big rc plane over like a foot wide and long. i have never flown a plane with this kind of remote before either. would this be a good starter plane for me
July 31st, 2011 - 01:00
Another great video. Thanks
July 31st, 2011 - 01:45
Hi i know this is a bit big but would this be able to fly in a Soccer Field? Also the grass is cut every week for the games so could it take off in light grass?
July 31st, 2011 - 02:01
Hey Tony finally got to fly this plane last night. Using Airtronics 8000 and the 5 chan rx. it’s been ready for 2 months. I brought it in nice and smooth but the nose wheel hit a grass clump. Something snapped, I haven’t taken the cowl off yet but the landing was better than yours and the nose gear is now junk. You must have the upgraded model. Very few people have asphalt to take off and land on. Nice plane but I’d be better off with a tail dragger.

Oh thanks a lot! now I have to get this one too? After hearing awsome things about the Parkzone T-28, I got mine yesterday, set it up and flew it last evening and am amazed at how well it flies and how much fun it is. Now this Sky Trainer 400 looks so good and sleek, if it flies nearly as well as the T-28 I’m in!
July 31st, 2011 - 02:19
@Iguanachief91 If you haven’t flown rc before or still haven’t learned fully, this will be in pieces very quickly, and you do actually have to change the centre of gravity so it is further forward, because on the first flight it was clearly dodgy, due to the tail heavy balance point.

@HAXANDREW It sure is, Haxandrew!!

I’m the kind of pilot who buys aircraft that are always RTF, i do not have the tools to fix, mod etc. I have some experience for a 3-chnnl plane, but i was hoping i can hop directly to this baby. Is it my kind of plane?
July 31st, 2011 - 03:35
@nitroplanes Great! Thanks for the help and I love your site!
July 31st, 2011 - 04:06
@TheDorkanator The balance charger under spare parts sure will work for the Sky Trainer! cn
July 31st, 2011 - 04:28
I have a quick question, in the spare parts section for the sky trainer, there is a balance charger for it, i was wondering if that would work with the batteries that it came with even though its not a choice in the drop down selections under add to cart?

I heard in another video there are extra unused spaces on the wings to install servos to actuate the flaps. Is there an extra button on the transmitter that can activate these extra servos? I’m planning to purchase this plane really soon from you guys and I’ll probably buy the servos along with it.

July 31st, 2011 - 08:37
you’ve probably got this question but how did you change the knobs and which knobs are those that you have on your imax 9x?
July 31st, 2011 - 08:54
where is part 2?
July 31st, 2011 - 09:48
@KaldekBoch The problem is that this radio used to have a 72mhz module in it on v1, so when they removed it the tx became unbalanced.
July 31st, 2011 - 10:16
Hey Bruce, love ur videos! I was wondering, can i use this as a slave to a futaba/ Jr transmitter?
July 31st, 2011 - 10:50
Where is Part 2?
July 31st, 2011 - 11:35
Can the 9x trims be programed to a switch(es)? I’m looking for a 2.4Ghz Tx that will be compatible with Tamiya tanks. Thanks.
July 31st, 2011 - 11:39
It’s only a $60 “TOY” radio
July 31st, 2011 - 11:47
im from the uk and ive just paid £90 and you paid $60 fucking uk everythings expensive immergrate i think..
July 31st, 2011 - 11:52
@RCModelReviews Fair enough, tough guy! I’ll see if it changes when my Lithium Ion battery cells arrive for the $8 battery mod.
July 31st, 2011 - 12:07
@KaldekBoch I don’t use a neckstrap — I work out a lot and my arms are strong enough to hold the radio without one
I sometimes wonder whether I should try a strap but after 40 years of flying without one it just feels unnatural.
July 31st, 2011 - 13:05
Bruce, do you find that the 9x feels a bit bum-heavy? I always use a neck strap and found that the position of the loop on the radio is too high, resulting in the radio requiring more effort to hold it horizontal (as compared to my DX6i anyway).
July 31st, 2011 - 13:21
This is the best priced rc system and product in rc history.
54$!!!!! Amazing
July 31st, 2011 - 13:26

July 31st, 2011 - 14:40
Wheres the flying video?
July 31st, 2011 - 15:26
@travellingpurdy I have this Turnigy 9x v2 Tx and it has no range issues whatsoever. I just don’t know how well it goes beyond about 350m as that’s as far as I’ve ever flown one of my plane with it.
No glitches or anything though, rock solid signal strength, so it’s not near the edge of it’s range with 350m for sure! In comparison many other Tx reach 1,5km without problems, so it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise if this one can do the same. I just haven’t confirmed this yet myself though.
July 31st, 2011 - 15:57
@lihwoei Then again there are some flaws in the firmware that some people might not tolerate, even for only 60 bucks.
I agree with you though, for it’s price the Tx is awesome.
July 31st, 2011 - 16:35
can you help…?………….. i checked the firmwier on my eurgle 9x and now my al,ele, rudder doesnt work now. do you know what the problem is?….
July 31st, 2011 - 17:00
Are you german?
July 31st, 2011 - 17:49
@ocastanontube I get about the same range as yourself. 250-300m. Oh well, the tx module and rx is pretty worthless.
July 31st, 2011 - 17:57
@Aabish72 @RCModelReviews I too am very much looking forward to this video!
I was wondering if it would be a wise idea to convert the antenna into an SMA connector instead. This way boosters and what not could be added very easily? Also when using a module with its own antenna it can be easily unscrewed?
Thanks Bruce for your work. Where about in Australia are you from?
July 31st, 2011 - 18:41
i just wanted to know how good this radio is for some one who has not got much experiance of using radio controls?

i just wanted to know how good this radio is for some one who has not got much experiance of using radio controls?
July 31st, 2011 - 19:29
The Leader Hobby version of this has the antenna as part of the module so it isn’t hard wired but I dunno if its v2 hardware or what..
July 31st, 2011 - 20:28
I have seen on your website that u have converted to Li-ion batteries in all of your apps, can you please make a video on different kinds of li-ions, and their prices are hugely differs per mah at ebay , don’t know how to select batteries for my tx and to power my models.
