How do I connect my wii to the net using a regular wifi connector?

Does anyone now how to connect a wii to the internet with a USB wifi that is not the nintendo brand USB? I don't have a wireless router and know that the wii can be connected to the net using a USB wifi connector by plugging it into my PC. I can't seem to get it working.....Please Help !!

  2. Well, I think you can use it.. by finding an access point from the wii.

    Question…. did you get 2 USB thingies with that USB thing.. if you did, then attach one to the Wii’s back.. if not… well…… just read on anyway..

    Go to the settings page, by pressing the round button in the bottom left corner of the main menu page.. where all the channels are shown.

    Then find the internet options..

    Then press any empty connection, and choose wireless,

    then press ’search for access point’……..

    Do whatever the Wii tells you to do… then it will try to Connect to the internet, if it works,… then Walla!

    Though chances of this working are very low, but still you can try..
