I am curious why did you need to install virtualbox. I did not see a virtual machine run in this video. Is it required for the SDK install ?

after i get into Program File palm I type novacom -7 open tty:// it says can not find device. What am I doing wrong ? I have done this so many times i keep getting the same message . Plllllleeaaasssse help me !

the command prompt part isnt working for me, it just says something like could not be found or path isnt specified or not valid command, do i need to change my initial path to something else cause im trying this C:UsersMYNAME> PalmSDKbin. and yeah thats where my file is

@Oricaousa Type “palm pre mobile hotspot hack” on google, u should find how to install verizon mobile hotspot on your Palm Pre, much simpler and works well!

Dude first thanks for have done this………….i have an issue i follow each of your steps and everything did just like yours the only thing is that for some reason i dont have the tether app in my phone even after have said installation finished on last cmd step and still i doint have it ???????????????? Could you pls help

I have lucid 10.4 the way you run the program look like if it came from a linux shell.

I have watched your video and I already followed all of the steps. I did successfully get my Palm Pre (OS 1.4.1.) to provides internet when I use a USB cable, but not as Wi-Fi. Any suggestions/advice on what to do to get my Palm Pre to work as a Wi-Fi Router? I watched your video a few more times to make sure I did not miss any steps and I did every step correctly, but I just don’t know why it does not provide wireless internet?

@abran323 this makes your plam pre broadcast its own fiwi signal, which you can pick up on and use internet everywhere. There is a 40 dollar charge per month with this hack you pay nothing
