Question by calderon_robby: How does the wifi work with Ubuntu 7.10 gutsy gibbion? I'm not able to figure out how to find or even connect.
Im using an HP laptop with a broadcom wireless card the original kind which i think is 802.11. Also i have tried to do the sudo command to try and install wifi radar for some reason it comes up with 0 results, PLZ TELL ME WHAT IM DOING WRONG!

If you have not already, do this:
Hook your laptop up to a wired internet connection. Then..
Go to System > Administration > Restricted Drivers Manager
Make sure to place a checkmark to each item that shows up in the bottom pane. The drivers should then download and install themselves. Then, reboot.
Try your wireless after these steps.

@Paulandreou Yes you can use it with any router that supports anyone of the wireless standards (802.11b/g/n). We do recommend using it with a wireless n (802.11n) router to get the best performance though.
