USB Wifi Adapter Antenna

This Wifi adapter didnt have good range, so i added up an antenna which helped alot.

I think you mean making this work as an Access Point. you cant do that but u can make two devices connect with each other using this dongle (P2P network).

u mean on a motherboard? main boards usually comes with a connector for an antenna to be attach on the back side of cpu aka I/O panel. if not than there must be a spot on the mainboard to do that trick.

thats right m8 i work for a cable company and my dongle is outside waterproofed in a parobolic curve thanks to 15 mtr of usb cable:P

I think it was about 4 to 5 inch long. longer wires may give better result. it really depends on how far is ur AP that u want to connect to. U can also try to attach a proper antenna at the end of the wire. MY wifi setup is on the same floor and no i actually did not check how far can i take it.

nice mod, i have this same adapter, my sister found it in a house that she rented and she gave it to me, im using it now, can you tell us how long the wire was that you soldered to the board ??? and did you try longer wires to see if the the sig was better/worse ?

I tried that and it worked. If you followed the instructions and it still doesn’t work, turn off the xbox and try going on xbox live again. It worked for me oh and put your laptop on high performance for the best experience
